Kaleidoscopica Version 4 Animation 1

Made with Bryce

Created by spektyr

That's right. It's back. And it has a whole new face. ;-) 300x300, 20 seconds ar 20 fps and it only took 11 hours. It looks more kaleidoscopic than the original and goes from complex to simple, displaying every possible color along the way. ;-) http://www.spektyr.com/Animations/KV4A1.avi All comments welcome. Now to get my feet wet with Blender.

- Wow - I like the counter-rotation, the start looks like a propeller. Very nice metamorphoses to squares towards the end. Runs quite smoothly. Cool start, going the wrong way first.

- You're acutally getting triple rotation here. The mirror box rotates clockwise and within it you have a group of 4 rotating elongated diamond mirrors (2 pyramids set base to base). The group rotates counterclockwise while the individual diamonds rotate clockwise. The mirror box itself is a complex arrangement of cubes. It would take too long to describe it here so I'll just give you a download link to the .br6 file. http://www.spektyr.com/BR6/KV4A1.br6

- Thanks for that source file, spektyr. You've certainly progressed from your first setup and went a long way. Your ideas how to change the setup yet another time are impressive.

- Thanks Guys! Check out the one I just posted. I'm still stunned by how good it came out. Imagine an amination that looks that way. LOL

- Goodness, you've been busy, I just checked your gallery Spektyr - phew! Anyhow, another good, morphing sworly abstract, reminds me some how of some sort of psycodelic docking sequence - if you recall Elite with the "primitive" space stations? I'm pleased to hear your creations are makind it onto the DAZ gallery, they certainly diserve to!

- Thanks David! It was really a pleasant surprise when I say they posted two of them. I would have been ecstatic with just one. Now that I've joined the Platinum Club I'll start posting to that gallery too. I should start working more with Carrara and maybe try some animations with it. With the help of the voucher I won I'll be able to buy the Carrara 6 upgrade in a couple of weeks. ;-)
