Glare

Made with Bryce

Created by Alexandr

Just a little experiment about lightspreading and light glares on lences. Thanks For David Brinnen for his method of this here on Bryce 5 (http://www.bryce5.com/details.php?image_id=370&mode=search). I allways was wondered ho to achieve this in Bryce. It is just an experiment so the scene is realy simble, and there is angular grass from the Bryce objects.

- I never noticed that picture from David. Thanks for the link. Yes, with 2D faces in front of the camera, a lot of interesting effects can be archieved. But this one I have never tried. Interesting looking, your experiment. I wonder how it would look with a wider camera angle. Experimenting is fun. Keep it up.

- Yes, keep experimenting! As Horo (Bryce demi-god that he is) wisely observes, there are many interesting and frankly weird effects that can be created using 2D faces - mucking with the refractive index for example, can be good. As can applying a bump and using that as an effects filter in front of the camera.
