- I'll conceede that point up to a point, but what I really want to see is your entry for this subject area. Not many days left to get going! Plenty of John Martin pics on Google Images to look as - there a bit over dramatic, Wagneresque? An appealing dream like quality - dreams of the darker sort...
My entry This will be a disappointment -- and worse to me! Since the competition was set up, I have my favorite image on the table. Looked easy enough at first. I set myself to actually copy it. I'm still not capable to control Bryce the way I want. I'll do it eventually, but after the deadline. Having accepted defeat on this one for the time being, mayhap I can scratch up some time to imitate the style of another of my favorite painters.

Style I'm not familiar with John Martin -- after seing this pic I must add: unfortunately. However, it could also be an image in the style of David Brinnen. But then,what did I expect? It's your favorite artist after all.
